Kristin Keafer DeRousse

Kristin began the first 3 years of her career working in Connecticut and relocated to New Hampshire to join the team at Hampton PT in 2016. She received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2009. She then went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2013. She specializes in evaluation and treatment of sports and orthopedic injuries encompassing a variety of diagnoses in patients of all ages.

Kristin has continued her education to refine her manual skills through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM) which focuses on systematic differential diagnosis of orthopedic conditions with joint specific mobilizations and treatment. She has been extensively trained in Dry Needling techniques to address myofascial trigger points, tendon and nerve dysfunction, and pain modulation (Cert-DN). Spinal manipulation techniques for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar are regularly used in her practice based on methods developed by Maitland (MAPS) and the Spinal Manipulation Institute (SMT). She has also gained experience with the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) aiding in the effective treatment of musculoskeletal movement dysfunctions. Additionally, she has furthered her knowledge in the evaluation and treatment of vestibular dysfunction and concussion based therapy and is now a vestibular rehab specialist (Cert-VRS). She is also certified in Blood Flow Restriction Therapy as a treatment to improve muscle strength (Cert-MST). Her motivation to continue advancing her skills as an orthopedic manual therapist will ensure her patients are recovering from their injuries quickly and meeting their goals efficiently.

Outside of the clinic, Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and rescue pup. Always excited for a new adventure, they love to travel, experience the outdoors, and visit with close friends and family.

Dylan Chisholm

Dylan is a graduate of UMass Lowell where he received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology in 2015 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. During his education he was exposed to various treatments including Postural Restoration Institution treatments, the McKenzie approach, Graston technique and Dry Needling. Born and raised in Londonderry, he played a multitude of sports, which drove his passion for athletics and rehabilitation, specifically in outpatient orthopaedics. Dylan is eager to educate and drive patient-center outcomes to allow each patient to achieve their individual goals. During his free time he enjoys playing baseball, going to sporting events and concerts, hiking and spending time with his friends and family.

Kate Dulac Serodio

Kate received her Doctorate Degree from Simmons College in 2004. Kate is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) awarded through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. Only 1% of the Physical Therapists hold this prestigious board certification. She is certified in Dry Needling (Cert-DN). The Cert DN requires intensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and the body’s neurological and chemical responses to soft tissue manipulation. Kate has presented on several occasions for the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (AENS) Annual Scientific Conferences on mobilization of the nervous system. Neural mobilization requires a thorough understanding of the human nervous system. These techniques are stretching techniques that aim to desensitize the nervous system.

Kate is also a Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist (Cert-VRS) which is a specialized form of therapy intended to alleviate problems caused by vestibular disorders, primarily vertigo and dizziness, gaze instability, and/or imbalance and falls. Conditions such as BPPV and concussions respond well to this treatment. This training allows for the treatment of improving the relationship between the inner ear, brain, eyes, muscles and nerves.

Kate is also certified in blood flow restriction therapy (Cert-MST). Blood flow restriction (BFR) training is a method of strength training that involves restricting the blood flow to working muscles to trick the body into getting stronger by creating a metabolic stress response. It is achieved through the application of external pressure over the extremities. This is beneficial for post operative restrictive protocols or pt’s experiencing pain with increased resistance training that is limiting their progress.

Kate is certified in Graston Technique (GTS) which incorporates a patented instrument that is utilized to aide in myofascial release. Kate has also studied the work of Tom Myer’s Anatomy Trains, which is a comprehensive approach to the anatomy and function of the fascial system in the body combined with a holistic overview of myofascial therapy. The interconnection of the fascia throughout the body has a direct effect on posture, compensatory strategies, and pain patters.

Lastly, Kate also performs Spinal Thrust Manipulations (adjustments similar to Chiropractics), bio-mechanical assessment of the foot with foot casting/orthotic fabrication, footwear prescriptions, and post-operative rehabilitation programs. Kate has also recently taken US guided Dry Needling and currenting taking courses in Diagnostic Ultrasound to assist her diagnostic evaluation process with her patients.

Kate is the owner of Hampton PT (Hampton & Seabrook), Partner at Rye Physical Therapy, Partner at Exeter Sport & Spine, Partner of Pinnacle Rehab Network. Kate is an active Board member of the Hampton Youth Association, Warriors Soccer Coach, and former Professional Figure competitor (OCB) and NCAA Collegiate (All New England, All Regional, Player of the Year)/Semiprofessional Soccer Player

Lisa Wheldon

Lisa graduated from Franklin Pierce University with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2011. Before joining Hampton Physical Therapy, Lisa discovered her desire to work in outpatient orthopedics. She was lucky enough to have multiple experiences in this setting, where she gained knowledge on treating patients with a wide variety of conditions. After completing her clinical affiliations Lisa knew she wanted to continue treating patients in the outpatient orthopedics setting and joined Hampton Physical Therapy. Now working with Kate she has had to ability to learn an array of manual treatments to aid in her treatments.

Lisa treats a variety of patient populations including: pediatric, geriatric, and even high level athletes. She has received certifications in Graston technique, Dry Needling, and Vestibular Rehab. Lisa performs spinal thrust manipulations (adjustments) as well as utilizing TDN and Graston technique to treat a variety of conditions. She has had great success combining these manual treatments to achieve great outcomes. Lisa completed a course taught by Mike Reinold to expand her knowledge and treatments for the athlete’s shoulder. Lisa combines a variety of manual treatments and therapeutic exercise to create an individualized treatment plan for her patients. In her downtime, Lisa is an avid reader, enjoys hiking, performs a variety of functional workouts, and loves watching New England sports.

Derek DeSouza

Derek is a graduate of Springfield College where he received his bachelors degree in Health Sciences in 2020. He also received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce in 2023.

He grew up in Shrewsbury, MA where he played Hockey, Football, Baseball and Soccer. He quickly became interested in orthopedic and sport physical therapy rehabbing patients of all ages.

During his clinical rotations he was was exposed to various treatments including Blood Flow Restriction, Graston technique, Postural Restoration Institute, Dry Needling and Cupping.

Derek values building rapport with patients, educating patients and helping them achieve their goals of being the best version of themselves. He continues to build on his experience in manual therapy and is pursuing certifications in dry needling and spinal manipulations.

During his free time Derek enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors with his dogs and cheering on the Boston sports teams!

Brielle Sufat

Brielle is a UMass Lowell graduate where she earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology, and continued on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has a passion for assisting patients regain control over their body and pain through promoting movement. Throughout her clinical experiences, Brielle has had exposure to treating diverse patient populations including patients with musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical, patients with progressive neurological diagnoses, and patients who have had a stroke. Brielle has a strong interest in growing as a clinician in the outpatient setting. She is certified in blood flow restriction training (cert-MST), a strength training technique applied to obtain similar results of high intensity training by performing lower intensity exercises combined with blood flow occlusion to create metabolic stress in the muscles. She has the intent of completing continuing education to become certified in dry needling, spinal manipulation, and the goal of working to become a board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist.

Brielle spends her time enjoying the outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and staying active by running, weightlifting, playing tennis, and paddle boarding.

Colin Turner

Colin is a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College where he received his undergraduate degree in Exercise & Sport Science and a minor is Psychology in 2019. He then attended Plymouth State University where he received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2023. During his clinical education experiences, he was exposed to Dry Needling, Graston Technique, vestibular rehabilitation, blood flow restriction, and treatments of many musculoskeletal injuries. Colin is interested in treating an outpatient orthopedics patient population and continuing to grow his knowledge in this area. He intends to complete continuing education certifications in dry needling and spinal manipulation.

In his free time, Colin enjoys spending time outside skiing, running, and relaxing at the beach.

Allison Graham

Allison Graham earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Franklin Pierce University (2019) following a career in hotel management at the Wentworth by the Sea. She completed her undergraduate degree in Recreation Management and Policy with minors in Marine Biology and Hospitality at the University of New Hampshire in Durham (2013). Allison has worked in acute care, pediatric, inpatient, and outpatient therapy settings. She has completed continuing education courses in taping, ICU rehabilitation, Spinal Manipulation, Dry Needling, complex regional pain syndrome, Dementia, Incontinence, and Lymphedema. She is Published alongside faculty and co-writers in Physical Therapy Reviews for the treatment of Cervicogenic and Tension Type Headache. Allison is excited to improve the function and lives of her patients while constantly working to grow and learn using evidence-based practice which considers recent research, clinical experience, and patient values.

When Allison, less formally known as Allie, isn’t working as a PT, you will find her running, hiking, biking, snowboarding, surfing, knitting, kayaking, yoga-ing, singing, or playing guitar. A native of New Hampshire, she is thrilled to be working on the seacoast with the amazing team here at Hampton Physical Therapy and is living happily ever after in her home in Hampton with her dog, Lacey, and fiancé, Justin.

Jackie Zizza

Jackie earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from North Shore Community College in 2025. Prior to entering the field of physical therapy, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2021. Her passion for movement and helping others was sparked during her time working at the local YMCA, where she discovered the powerful impact of guided physical activity on overall well-being.

During her studies at NSCC, Jackie completed multiple clinical rotations in both outpatient and inpatient settings. These experiences allowed her to work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-surgical procedures, and a variety of neurological conditions, helping her build a strong and diverse clinical foundation.

Jackie is thrilled to begin her career at Hampton Physical Therapy. She is committed to expanding her hands-on skills and is particularly interested in pursuing advanced certifications in blood flow restriction training and vestibular rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Jackie enjoys hiking in the White Mountains, biking, and practicing Krav Maga and Muay Thai. She also loves spending quality time with friends, family, and her cat, Goose.

Michelle Cook

Michelle graduated from Becker College with an Associate’s Degree in 1994 as a Physical Therapist Assistant & has been working in various settings, mostly Sports Orthopedics, all around New England & even ventured to Southern California to develop an Aquatics Program in 2002.

Due to her adoration for numerous physical activities & willingness to get people back to their previous lifestyles brought her to become a PTA. Her skill set consist of Sports Orthopedics/Medicine, Post Operatives, Chronic Pain, Aquatics & work-related injuries. She is also Graston Certified, Vestibular Certified, Blood Flow Restriction Certified & implements Cupping, Kinesiology/RockTape Taping & a lot of manual work into her treatments.

She wrote an article on Retro Training in 2012, encouraging a “mechanical reset” without joint compression – a clever adjunct to any exercise level.

Some of her enjoyments include spending time with her wonderfully blended family of five, as well as a few fur babies. She’s an avid mountain biker, ATV’er, skier & snowmobiler. She also enjoys hiking & gardening.
